Popovers
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 6 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- butter (for serving)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375* F
- Grease 8 deep muffin cups
- Place muffin tin on a baking sheet to catch any overflow
- In a large mixing bowl beat eggs until frothy
- Beat in milk and butter
- Beat in flour
- Beat in salt
- Pour into muffin cups (3/4 full)
- Bake 60 minutes
- Make a small slit in each to release steam, bake 10 more minutes
- Serve hot
