Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients
- 4 overripe bananas, mashed
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5 metal loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas. Stir in melted butter.
- Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Stir in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
Storage: Room temperature up to 4 days. Freeze up to 3 months.
